We’re glad you are here and welcome you to our great community! We hope you’ll take advantage of everything our area has to offer. Redwood Falls is an area rich in history, heritage and scenic beauty, unique shopping opportunities, and an abundance of recreational and leisure activities. With strong family roots in agriculture, Redwood Falls and the surrounding area offer prairie lakes, beautiful wooded areas, rolling prairies and rich tradition.

The city of Redwood Falls is nestled along the fertile and picturesque Minnesota River Valley in northern Redwood County and is part of the nationally recognized Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway. Redwood Falls is approximately 110 miles west/southwest of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

Although surrounded by miles of rolling scenic prairie land, Redwood Falls also possesses rugged scenic beauty with the Redwood River and Ramsey Creek running through the wooded cliffs and unique geologic formations of Alexander Ramsey Park. Once part of the state park system, Alexander Ramsey Park is now Minnesota’s largest municipal park, boasting 217 acres of this splendid beauty. The park is much of the reason the City is known as “The Scenic City” as well as our beautiful 18-hole championship golf course strung in and around the park borders.

Redwood Falls is an innovative and entrepreneurial community with an economic base consisting of industry sectors such as tourism and entertainment, light and heavy manufacturing, high-tech computer component manufacturing, and agriculture production and research. An equally strong commercial, retail, and service trade supplements the area’s economic growth.

In addition to the traditional local government services one would expect, Redwood Falls goes the extra mile in providing additional services and maintains a consistently high level of appeal for all who live, work, and play here.

Whether you are here for a vacation experience, business, or visiting family in the area, we hope you have a little extra time to take in a few of the areas activities, sites, and hospitality. Stop by the Chamber office at 200 South Mill Street or ask your hotel desk clerk for additional information and brochures.

Please enjoy your stay!
