Redwood Area Chamber Ag Committee & AFA Scholarship Press Release

      The Redwood Area Chamber Ag Committee and Agriculture Future of America are pleased to announce its scholarship recipients for the 2018-19 school year.   Brooke Hoffbeck, a Senior at Cedar Mountain High School, and Trenna Jeppesen, a Senior at Cedar Mountain High School, have each been selected as the 2019 Redwood Area Chamber Ag Committee and AFA Scholarship Recipients.  Both of their scholarships include a $3200 academic scholarship and attendance at the AFA Leaders Conference November 7-10, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri, valued at $1000.  The leadership conference is attended by over 650 top agriculture students from across the nation.  Each scholarship … [Read More...]

Spring and Summer #RedwoodArea Events on the Horizon!

Have you heard the saying, “No Winter lasts forever; no Spring skips it’s turn”?   I’m sure with this last #SWMNWinter storm many of you have possibly given up on Spring, as it does seem like Winter just won’t go away around the Redwood Area, but many signs point to the contrary.   Planning and excitement has begun for a number of our favorite Spring and Summer, and even Fall, events and activities. Cardinal Careers Expo Event

Cardinal Careers Connecting Cardinals and Community Members with Industries in the Redwood Area  A new kind of Career Expo will be held on March 25, 2019 in the Redwood Valley Commons at Redwood Valley High School.  The Cardinal Careers Expo, a fun, interactive, and free Career Expo Event, will connect students, parents, and job-seekers with Redwood Area Business and Industry Leaders.  (Note:  The Cardinal Careers Expo has been rescheduled from the original date, due to parent-teacher conferences being rescheduled to March 25.)
